Jeff is currently directing a three month, three episode block of the Arnold Schwarzenegger show ‘Fubar’ for Skydance and Netflix. This is his 10th, 11th, and 12th episode of television for Fubar/Reacher creator and showrunner Nick Santora.

Jeff’s previous position was Executive Producer/Director on Big Sky for ABC, Hulu, 20th Television and Disney Platform Distribution.

Jeff Co-Executive then Executive Produced and acted as supervising director on 31 episodes of Big Sky over 18 months. Over 200 million dollars worth of television in this period alone.

This included relocating the show to a different country as well as being part of restructuring the production to accommodate its change from serialized to episodic.

Big Sky’s plus 35 day viewership is 20 million, making it the biggest non-franchise show on network television.

Big Sky is also a Saturn Awards Nominee for best action/thriller series Network/Cable.

This was his third TV show with showrunner/creator/novelist Elwood Reid.

Jeff T. Thomas directed over 100 music videos and 70 commercials in 16 different countries before directing television drama in the US.

At age 21, Jeff was the youngest of the ‘new wave’ of music video directors in the UK industry. He quickly earned a reputation for beautifully crafted and engaging narratives for bands such as Travis, Embrace, Zero 7, Paulo Nutini and Jet.

Jeff’s success in music videos led to work in commercials where he made an impact directing innovative and award-winning projects for brands such as Audi, Playstation and Coca Cola. One of Jeff’s commercial’s for the cellular network Vodafone is the biggest commercial to be shot in Bucharest to date featuring thirteen hundred extras with no post-produced crowd duplication.

In television drama, Jeff directed the pilot for the season 2 anthology show ‘Tell me a Story’ for Kevin Williamson. With new characters, cast, crew, look and location. Jeff served as Co-Executive Producer and Supervising Director on all 10 episodes as well as directing 5 of the episodes including the finale.

Jeff also directed the pilot and episodes 1,2,7,8,9 and 10 of the gritty cop gang drama for 50 Cent; ‘The Oath’ starring Sean Bean and Ryan Kwanten. Jeff also served as Co-Executive Producer. Jeff returned to direct the second season premiere and the second episode of the show which brought over 2 million new subscribers to the Sony streaming service.

Jeff also directed the pilot and second episode of the Cold War era mini series The Assets, which was ABC News’ first ever fully scripted drama. The drama was primarily shot against the ex-Soviet backdrop of Lithuania, shooting in actual Cold War era locations such as a former KGB prison. Jeff was Supervising Producer on all eight episodes of the mini series.

The Assets was reviewed highly after streaming on both Netflix and Amazon.

Jeff has also directed numerous high profile shows including being the only director to shoot episodes from both seasons of M Night Shyamalan, Donald De Line and Chad Hodge executive produced event series Wayward Pines.

Wayward Pines was aired simultaneously in 125 countries, making the series the largest day and date launch for a scripted drama at the time.

Jeff has also directed Designated Survivor with Kiefer Sutherland, Vegas created by Greg Walker and Nicholas Pileggi (Casino and Goodfellas) and two episodes of the Jonathan Nolan created /JJ Abrams executive produced Person of Interest amongst many others.
